Ardmore 12 from the Highlands is a complex whisky featuring smoky notes complemented by orange zest, cinnamon, bittersweet chocolate, honey, strawberries, vanilla, and pepper. The combination of flavors offers a well-balanced and mature experience, with a lingering sweetness and a touch of spice. Despite lacking in some areas, this whisky is a good value for its price, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts.

It's light with a light spicy notes in it.

The smoke is not that hefty, just there and combines with everything. It's just a wonderful whiskey all in all.

There's a little bit of peatiness, a rather damp PT- damp grist note, a little bit of caramel, a little bit of wood spice. Unless you get it on offer, I don't think that it's worth the money.

Light and sweet with a balance of fruity, peated notes. It's the best one in this month and October and is able to compete with other whiskies costing 200 or more.

It's light on the nose, malty with a hint of phenolics and smoke. Adding a drop of water makes a huge improvement in the whiskey.

Ardmore Legacy - Whisky Review 121
It's good, it's pleasant but mild. The price probably matches quite well with the price point.

Whisky Review/Tasting: Ardmore Port Wood Finish 12 years
I definitely have to say this is the best one in this month and October and is able to compete with other whiskies costing 200 or more. A really well-balanced, full, complex, mature, warming single malt whisky.

It's such a shame because to get a good Ardmore these days, you've got to go to the independent bottlers.
